Join Brigantine Physical Therapy for a Free Community Presentation on Longevity and the Secrets of the Blue Zones
Have you ever wondered why some people live healthy, active lives well into their 90s and even past 100 years old? What if many of the habits that contribute to a long, vibrant life could be practiced right here in Brigantine?
On Saturday, June 6 at 9:30 AM, Brigantine Physical Therapy invites you to join us at the Brigantine CER Cafeteria for a free presentation.
How to Live to Be 100 in Brigantine
During this engaging community event, we'll explore the fascinating research behind the world's famous Blue Zones—regions where people consistently live longer, healthier lives than almost anywhere else on Earth.

What Are Blue Zones?
Blue Zones are areas around the world where people commonly live to age 100 and beyond while maintaining high levels of physical function, independence, and quality of life. These regions include places such as Okinawa, Japan; Sardinia, Italy; and Nicoya, Costa Rica.
Researchers have spent years studying what makes these communities unique. Surprisingly, the secrets to longevity aren't expensive supplements, complicated diets, or extreme exercise programs. Instead, they often come down to simple, everyday habits.
What You'll Learn
At this presentation, we'll discuss:
The lifestyle habits shared by people living in Blue Zones
How movement throughout the day contributes to longevity
The role of social connections and community
Nutrition patterns associated with longer life
Why purpose and mindset matter as we age
Practical ways to apply these lessons right here in Brigantine
Why Brigantine Is a Great Place to Age Well
As physical therapists, we often tell our patients that longevity isn't just about adding years to your life—it's about adding life to your years.
Brigantine already offers many of the ingredients that support healthy aging:
Walkable neighborhoods
Access to the beach and outdoor recreation
Strong community connections
Opportunities to stay active year-round
A slower pace that encourages balance and wellness
We'll discuss how residents can take advantage of these local resources to improve their health, maintain mobility, and stay independent as they age.
It's Never Too Early—or Too Late
Whether you're in your 30s, 50s, 70s, or beyond, the habits that support longevity can begin today. Small changes made consistently over time can have a significant impact on your health and quality of life.
